The Land of Shadow is a masterclass in level design. It is dense, vertically layered, and packed with secrets. Unlike the wide-open plains of Limgrave, this new area constantly loops back on itself, rewarding exploration with incredible new weapons and devastating incantations.
Brutal Difficulty
Be warned: this DLC does not pull its punches. The new bosses are among the most aggressive and complex FromSoftware has ever designed. You will need to utilize the new Scadutree fragments to survive. It's a grueling, breathtaking masterpiece.
